The flavor has both the green apple and ripe apple characteristics, but also the nutty, buttery, and tropical fruit flavors expected in an Arbequina oil. It has many complex herbaceous flavors too of green olive fruit, fresh cut grass, mint, and black pepper. The balance is perfect with strong fruitiness, mild bitterness, and an appropriate zing of spicy pungency.
