This is a very nice well-rounded oil with a great combination of the typical Arbequina flavors harvested on the early side. It has a strong, clean, crisp aroma of green apple and flowers. The flavor has both the green apple and ripe apple characteristics, but also the nutty, buttery, and tropical fruit flavors expected in an Arbequina oil. It has many complex herbaceous flavors too of green olive fruit, fresh cut grass, mint, and black pepper. The balance is perfect with strong fruitiness, mild bitterness, and an appropriate zing of spicy pungency. -
This is a wonderful, floral, very early harvested Arbequina oil. It tastes very fresh and herbaceous with some of the typical nuttiness of the variety without much other ripe fruit flavors. It has some hints of cooked artichoke, green apple, and cinnamon flavors finishing up with a nice black pepper and chili pepper finish. It is only slightly bitter, but quite pungent.
